The SIU is an arm's length agency that investigates reports involving police where there has been death, serious injury or allegations of sexual assault. The ETF vehicles boxed the plow in. ETF officers approached the vehicle and made attempts to arrest the driver. During the arrest attempts were made to subdue him. It was at this time an officer between the plow and the garbage truck. An officer fired shots from his pistol. The driver was struck. He was subsequently taken into custody and transported to hospital by ambulance.A You Tube video-gone-viral showed the worst of the slick conditions with the makings of a 23-car pileup on South Carefree Circle caused by vehicles unable to sustain their momentum up a steep hill.Contact: Eileen Petridis Falls Communications (216) 696-0229 epetridis@fallscommunications.com"At this point in time, it's too early to say," Lower said.Forget shoveling.
